Larry Homman

Larry Arthur Homman, 71 of Solomon passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Salina Regional Hospital. He was born February 6, 1946, the son of Herbert and Marie (Powell) Homman in rural Solomon. On August 21, 1962 he was united in marriage to Delores Boyer. Larry was a farmer and also worked for Premier Pneumatics as a welder. He was also employed by Solomon Coop as a fertilizer manager for 32 years. He volunteered for the Solomon Fire Department. Larry was an avid K-State fan and enjoyed coyote hunting, 4-wheeling and fishing.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Delores of the home. Five daughters: Juanita Gabrillo (Richard); Tina Jeffrey; Kim Cline (Dustin); Vicky Fleming (George); and Debb Homman all of Solomon. One sister, Marlene Durran (Eddie) of Cortez, Colorado. Ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Garold Homman and grandson Kyle Grame.
The family has chosen cremation. A Memorial Service for Larry will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Yoked Presbyterian Church in Solomon with Pastor Tom Reid officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Carlson-Becker Funeral Home in Solomon. The family suggests memorials be given to the Solomon Fire Department or to the American Cancer Foundation. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, POB 308 Solomon, Kansas 67480.
